Jason Dang
Jason Dang brings over a decade of civil engineering experience to his role as Associate Director at KNg. Since joining the company in 2024, he has played an integral part in the delivery of large-scale residential and commercial developments across South East Queensland. His diverse project background spans residential, industrial, commercial, and infrastructure sectors, with expertise covering land development, stormwater design, and major road and park precinct upgrades.
Throughout his career, Jason has contributed to a number of notable projects, including master planning for the future Brisbane Olympic facilities, approvals for the circa 3000-lot Botanica development, and the successful delivery of key infrastructure works such as the Deebing Creek Trunk Sewer upgrades and Shoreline’s State Controlled Road upgrade. He has also been instrumental in the development of 12d standards for drainage and sewer, greatly enhancing productivity and clash detection capabilities across design teams at KNg.
At KNg, Jason leads by example - working closely with designers, drafters, and consultant teams to deliver projects efficiently and to the highest standard. He values the firm’s approachable culture and is deeply committed to mentoring emerging engineers, ensuring they gain a comprehensive understanding of the design process from concept to construction. His leadership is defined by attention to detail, clear communication, and a strong commitment to getting things right the first time.
A member of Stormwater Queensland and Professionals Australia, Jason holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) (Honours) and is a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ).
Beyond the office, he enjoys driving and working on cars, sailing, and spending time on the water - hobbies that provide the perfect balance to his professional life.
