Located on the grounds of the former Oxley Secondary School, Songbird Oxley offers a serene enclave covering approximately 19 hectares, with over 10 hectares dedicated to open space, including more than 3 hectares of rehabilitated bushland.

Songbird Oxley has created a sense of place within a small pocket of peace, promoting over 80 slope-responsive home sites that complements the natural topography and surrounding bushland, Childcare Centre, 150 bed residential aged care facility, proposed over 50s lifestyle village, and a community centre featuring a café.

Overseeing the design and construction supervision of this boutique development, KN Group took charge of complex bulk earthworks and stormwater management. This involved the concept, detailed design, and construction management of tasks such as steep slope stability measures, open channel, and subsoil drainage design.

Notably, KN Group addressed challenges posed by the steep topography and well-established trees, KN Group collaborated with geotechnical and environmental experts, resulting in cost-effective engineering solutions working with the terrain to retain the significant native vegetation.
