Ipswich City Council

Providence North (True North) sits on the northern edge of Stockland Providence’s Central Development, approximately 43km from Brisbane, within one of South East Queensland’s fastest-growing communities. The True North site posed unique challenges, requiring innovative design solutions to ensure optimal road and lot grading while preserving the stunning views of the Flinders Range and southern Ripley.

KN Group delivered the detailed design of the sewer, water, roads, and drainage for this complex site. We also provided self-certification for both design and construction in collaboration with Ipswich City Council under the Economic Development Act. As part of the project, we carefully removed and reinstated the Box Flat Memorial plaque which commemorates the 17 lives lost in the worst mining accident in Ipswich’s history. The development spans 25 hectares, featuring 435 new homes, 4 km of roads, two parks, and breathtaking views.
