Eden’s Crossing

CLIENT – PEET

(2018 to Present – Ipswich City Council)

Edens Crossing is a 1250 lot subdivision, located within Redbank Plains approximately 14km south-east of the Ipswich CBD.  The development is designed to accommodate over 1,200 families and offers a significant portion of green open space, creating a peaceful and vibrant community.

KNg has been the Principal Consulting Engineer since 2018, for the delivery of the last (16) stages of the development, with a further (17) stages earmarked for delivery.

The development has included commercial premises as well as residential, and the delivery of trunk water infrastructure, drainage reserves, Council parks and an arterial roadway.

The overall bulk earthworks strategy for the development required a collaborative approach with the site geotechnical team to utilise site-sourced sandstone material to counteract the performance of the highly reactive poor material that covers a large portion of the development footprint.
